I am an author, artist, gardener, nature lover, and retired graphic designer. I was fortunate to have my debut book published at age 84. “Who Knew? The Wonders of Biomimicry” took five years of research and writing inspired by a PBS program on biomimicry. The process of understanding and translating complex scientific concepts into simple, engaging text was a challenging yet rewarding journey. Now, I spend every spare moment gardening, painting, or writing and designing books, a process that involves a delicate balance of research, creativity, and perseverance.

My personal experience with dyslexia is a driving force behind my work. I create books that combine simple text with stunning photography or original illustrations, with the aim of sparking interest in struggling readers and improving comprehension. This mission is close to my heart, and will make a difference in the lives of those who face similar challenges.
